The Piusi K24 digital turbine flow meter is suitable for Adblue or water dispensing. The IP65 protection housing is constructed in polypropylene and stainless steel providing endurance for use in every condition. Integrated on the K24 turbine meter is an LCD display with a 5 digit partial total from 0.1 to 99999. Shown on the display is the flow rate indication and resettable total. The display can be easily rotated in 4 different positions making the screen readable from any angle. Three Parameters In a One-Inch-Diameter Ground Water Probe

The CTD-Diver instrument available from Bell Flow Systems offers a way of measuring and registering groundwater level, groundwater temperature and groundwater conductivity with a single instrument, all by using a device that fits into a one-inch probe! Monitoring groundwater levels and saltwater intrusion, injected wastewater, or contamination from chemical discharges and landfill sites used to be a labour intensive, difficult job. Piusi Fuel Management System, Re-purposed!

Bell Flow Systems were contracted to supply a dispensing management system to be used with water. The application called for a solution to allow registered users only, to dispense water from a large storage tank for window washing purposes and for the manager to monitor and control the amount of water they were using. We supplied a high accuracy Badger Meter Recordall water meter with pulse output connected to a Piusi MC Box fuel management system. The Piusi management system allows registered users to access the system with a unique pin code or key fob to activate the pump and deliver controlled batches of water from the tank. The device is equipped with a dual display, keypad and i-button key reader. The Recordall water meter is a positive displacement meter which accurately measures the quantity of water dispensed. AquaLink II Cost-effective Data Logging Device

AquaLink II is a telemetry device with a built in data logger that is designed to allow the user to access data remotely on the web. This cost effective monitoring system benefits from being battery powered with a lifetime of 6 years. Borehole Application Controlling Water Abstraction

Bell Flow Systems were recently approached by a customer who operated five boreholes and was limited by license to the volume of water he could draw from each borehole on a daily basis. A system was required to ensure automatic compliance with the abstraction agreement in place. We provided a solution to measure the water flow and then to close a valve when the maximum allowed volume was reached from each borehole in a Twenty Four hour period. The systems was designed to automatically start the process over again each day. Our Multi-jet water meters equipped with pulse output were installed in-line with a quality solenoid valve as well as F117 Fluidwell digital display monitors, which measure the volume of water then trigger the solenoid valve to close once the operator configured amount is reached. We have recently commissioned a large number of Qalcosonic Heat 1 meters installed within interesting micro apartments. The Heat meters were supplied to metering and monitoring specialists in order to evaluate the thermal heat energy used within this cutting edge accommodation located in the city of London. The client required MID approved ultrasonic heat meters which could deal with fluctuating temperatures and offer good Ingress protection and specific Mbus data comms Qalcosonic heat meters are MID class 2 approved and provide combined heating and cooling measurement capability. The 8-digit LCD display shows information on the total volume, current flow rate as well as historical data. The range offers a variety of signal outputs and communication options including M-Bus, Modbus or wireless wMbus radio link interfaces. Dynasonics - DXN Helps Keep Train Performance On Track

Bell Flow Systems were recently asked by a well regarded UK train operating company to supply non-invasive flow meter equipment that could easily be installed to carry out short term tests of oil flows on a number of trains in their fleet. The client selected our DXN flow meter as it is easily clamped onto the outside of the pipe therefore avoiding the task of breaking the pipework to install a traditional in-line solution. DXN uses ultrasonic technology to gather accurate results 'non-intrusively', which does not require the trains systems to be turned off, which ensures rolling stock down-time is cut to a minimum. Measurement of flow is taken using a pair of clamp-on non-invasive ultrasonic sensors which take over 100 readings per second. The MF4000 mass flow meter from Siargo is designed for various applications in gas flow measurement. The meters are ideal for use on process gas control, environmental samplers and other industrial applications. They perform best with non-corrosive and clean gas applications MF4000 meters are of simple, compact design utilising leading MEMS technology developed in the manufacturers Silicon Valley R&D centre. This model has a high visibility 4-digit LED panel display and two LED indicators. There are three different display modes: instant flow rate mode, flow accumulation mode, and maximum/minimum mode. Badger Meter M5000 given OIML and MID Approval

Badger Meter’s ModMag M5000 water meter has been given OIML and MID approval according to OIML R49-1 and MID M-001. OIML is the International Organisation of Legal Metrology established to promote global harmonisation of legal metrology procedure. The Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) is a European directive that matches the requirements of 10 different measuring instrument types, including gas and active electrical energy meters. The M5000 meter was found to meet the requirements required both within the OIML and MID test. The M5000 features two internal battery packs with up to 20 years operation. Available from sizes DN15 to DN600, the M5000 is ideal for industrial and bidirectional flow applications. District Heating, Modelling Consumption and Efficiency

Twelve BFU Ultrasonic Heat Flow meters from Bell flow Systems are being used in a district heating study being undertaken as part of a Southampton University PHD Thesis.   Installed in Halls of residence at various locations across the University campus district heating grid the BFU range was chosen for its low cost and non-invasive installation requirements, whereby the products flow and temperature sensors are clamped externally onto the heating pipes, rather than plumbed in using the traditional method.  BFU-100-M   Using time-of-flight acoustic technology, the BFU measures velocity and flow rates whilst integrating them with supply and retu rn temperatures within the heating circuit, to calculate the amount of thermal energy used at each location. The results are logged via multiple outputs available from the unit including, Modbus Comms, 4-20mA analogue signal and scalable pulse output.

Vortex Steam Meters

The BFVM series of in-line vortex flow meters are designed for measuring the volume/mass flow of steam based on the Karman vortex principle. Using an advanced differential algorithm along with signal isolation, buffered shielding and wave form filtering, the BFVM series of vortex flow meters have the advantages of immunity to vibration and noise. Available from DN20 to DN300 (15mm to 1200mm) with optional temperature and pressure compensation for accurate and reliable mass flow measurement. This range of steam flow meters is manufactured in stainless steel and available as wafer design or with flanged bodied and is suitable for either saturated or super-heated steam with temperatures up to +250°C. VuFlow Turbine Meters

Our range of VuFlow Turbine Meters are designed for the measurement of a wide variety of liquids of both thin and medium viscosity. The range has been independently tested to UKAS national standards with excellent results and also has ATEX approved models available. The flow meters range in size from 4 - 200mm I.D and benefit from a standard accuracy reading of +/-1% and a choice of blind signal output or range of digital displays which show actual flow rate, total and accumulated total with a variety of user features. We recently had the honour of supplying and commissioning Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters in Windsor Castle. The application required a system with the ability to measure the flow rates and temperatures of the building’s heating system to assess current and ongoing performance. The BFU-100-RF ultrasonic clamp-on flow meters were selected by our client because they offer a cost effective solution with high levels of performance. With simple installation and no need to cut into the existing pipe-work, unlike traditional in-line heat meter technologies, the sensors can be easily Clamped-on to the outside of the pipe meaning no contact with the internal fluid.
